Cloudy, Rainy Night at Empire State Building

Skyping the State of the Union
Posted: January 24, 2012 Filed under: National Affairs, Technology | Tags: Skype, State of the Union 2 Comments »Think I’m going to do something different this year and use Skype chat as a social-media companion while I watch tonight’s State of the Union speech. (Sorry, Twitter. Just experimenting a bit. You’ll understand, I hope.)
If you want to join in, be sure to either leave your Skype info in the comments or send me a contact request today on their system. You can find me at handle P-Mickey or by email pete@roscoelabs.com.
I’ll be on a little early, maybe 8:30ish Eastern. Speech starts at 9. Looking forward to chatting with a smaller but more engaged group of people responding more directly to one another. My theory is that those will be the advantages over tweeting, but we’ll see how it goes.
